Jordan the Red Wine Genie...
Jordan and Mopeds...
For those of you who don't know, Jordan is apart of a moped group called the Moped Army. So based on his profile, I made this:
animation
(turn up your speakers)
(This is a screen shot of the animation)
Jordan and his Records...
As if you didn't know He has an estimated amount of 500 - 600 records, 100 of which are shown here, lol...
(records used - most of these are posters in his cube)
Jordan and Coffee...
This week in Art Jumble, we're doing a tribute to Jordan McCommons.
Jordan loves the coffee and throughout the week he gets an Americano from Starbucks (which is an espresso diluted with hot water).Discouraged...
I was just experimenting and did this woman's face. She's not the prettiest thing but all women can't be pretty... lol.
John Hughes 80's movies No. 3
Ferris Bueller's Day Off - Ben Stein as the Economics Teacher
Here are some audio clips:
Bueller?... Bueller?... Bueller?... Bueller?... Anyone know what this is? Class? Anyone? Anyone? Anyone seen this before?
Hulk Smash!
The Hulk at the Movies
I’ve never drawn The Hulk before but here’s my chance too. I thought it would be funny to put The Hulk in a situation and then do what he does best - destroy things.
John Hughes 80's movies No. 2
It's not a scene in the movie, but basically the premise of it. Ferris: Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it.
John Hughes 80's movies No. 1
I’ve been meaning to experiment with acrylics for a while and well here it is. Not entirely happy with it but, it is what it is. I scanned it to show the richer colors.
Created it with a 5 color acrylic set (blue, red, yellow, white and black), #3, #6 and 1" size brushes and some sponges on 8.5 x 11 cold press illustration board (I know hot press warps less, but cold is all I got).
Here is the sketch of the painting...
Illustration Friday: run
This weeks IF topic didn't really interest me at all, so over the weekend I didn't do one. On Sunday however I was mowing my lawn, when all of a sudden my lawnmower broke. So I did this little illustration of my mower not running. As you can see I was very mad and as it stands now, my lawn is half mowed. :o)
Don't Drink and Fly...
I apologize for any Superman fans out there by ruining his alcohol free saves the day again persona. Thought I’d play off the “don’t drink and drive or expect the worst” ads seen everywhere combined with Superman’s flying capabilities. Just so happens he crashes in a park – huh, go figure…
My Hormonal Wife...
Well, this is my wife. The story behind this is, I was trying to draw something and she was also telling me to do something else (like always). So I drew this before I did the dishes. Sad = yes it is...
Eyes, Ears and Noses
I found this in an older sketchbook of mine - I was practicing facial features because it was a weak point - scanned it, colored it, posted it...
Illustration Friday: match
I thought I'd play off the word 'match' as much as possible in this one. It's from the movie 'Rocky', but with matches.
Illustration Friday - play
I thought this piece would be more dramatic with it being sepia toned - also it helps it portray a time when kids used to play with airplanes. Below is the colored (original) version – hope you like this post for Illustration Friday.
Shawshankya
I watched The Shawshank Redemption on Monday and drew Red (Morgan Freeman) and Andy (Tim Robbins) while watching it.
